Couples or Dyadic Therapy
Typically therapy for two or more people working on building and sustaining satisfying and long-lasting relationships. This usually includes promoting healthy communication and conflict-resolution, building emotional and physical intimacy, and navigating differences. Other variations can include: deciding to continue or terminate a relationship, co-parenting after a divorce, and opening the relationship to include other people.
Individual Therapy
Therapy just for you. Sessions are based on your personal goals, but often hold a relational lens: understanding you through how you relate to yourself and others. At times, this therapy can include others for a session or two.
Family Therapy
Therapy for chosen, biological, and blended families. Most sessions are together. Full participation from all members provides best results.
Group Therapy
Therapy with others who share similar goals or life experiences. Process groups promote self awareness by addressing how people relate to each other in the sessions. Support groups promote advice giving and recommendations to help members resolve similar challenges.
