Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
— -Viktor E. Frankl

Therapy is the practice of finding a space for growth, while owning the circumstances we can alter and finding peace with those we cannot. I use a systemic approach to help clients integrate their past experiences and relationships with where they are currently, in order to help them move forward with greater intention and well-being. This can be done through various forms of expression including talking, creative arts, movement, and writing. My approach is compassionate, curious, creative, affirming, and strength-based.

I am passionate about understanding relationships. My studies have focused on psychology, human development, and interpersonal communication. I obtained my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I am also a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, for working with pre-marital couples, and completed the Level One Theraplay & Marschak Interaction Method, for working with children and families. I am trained in several therapy methods, in order to suit each client based on their particular developmental needs and personal expression. I prioritize the therapist-client relationship in order to foster trust and safety, and help support change.

I work with individuals, dyads (including couples with all types of statuses), and families with children. I am LGBTQIA affirming and use she/her/hers pronouns. My particular interests include preparation for marriage and working with families with young children. When short-term therapy is preferred, I am skilled at collaborating with clients on creating an efficient way to conduct our time.
